Big Bang Education’s Kindergarten and Early Childhood Program has been developed with reference to the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia, and as such, is strongly focused on play-based discovery – because science is all about experimenting!

The program runs for 45-60 minutes and covers a wide range of science topics, including Music & Sound, Colours & Light, Movement and Magnets. Children will get to watch some exciting science demonstrations, before conducting their own investigations into science phenomena with lots of hands-on activities.

Early Childhood Science Workshop

Thank you for your wonderful presentations at our kindy this week. You were able to hold the attention of a large group of pre-school children for an extended period of time.  Our children and their families were all engaged and enthralled by the interactive show - a lovely morning filled with magical memories. The children all talked about what they saw and learned for the rest of the day! The Starfish children LOVED the rocket! Very exciting!! Our parents who attended commented on how much they enjoyed it and how grateful they were to be given the opportunity to share such a special morning with their child.

Early Childhood Science Workshop

My Kindergarten class certainly enjoyed today's session. When they went outside after Brett left they were very excited to find the balance point on items. Some children use our wobble/balance boards while others used a long plank and a tyre to walk over and find the balancing point. It was amazing to see the children connect their real life experiences to what they had learnt during the play session. We look forward to having you come and visit again next year!
